Conservative Bible Project
In a list of some of their goals, one will find this gem:
Express Free Market Parables; explaining the numerous economic parables with their full free-market meaning.
Which, of course, reminds me of Donald Miller’s work on “Free Market Jesus.” The more we foster a consumer-driven perspective of God and the Bible, the less we see grace and love. Grace does not make a shred of sense from a business standpoint. We are told to give without expecting anything in return. We will quickly go broke if that is our plan. Fortunately, in the upside-down kingdom of God, it is not a matter of supply and demand. God’s love and grace are free and unlimited.
God even loves the conservatives.
