Photography, and the Tolerance for Courageous Sucking
Merlin Mann writes of perseverance and enjoying the process rather than being overly focused on the end results. It has been an inspirational article and meshes well with some other things I have been reading and listening to regarding passion and fulfillment.
Getting outside my head can be a difficult thing. Sometimes it’s easier to just be “preoccupied with details, rules, lists, order, organization, or schedules to the extent that the major point of the activity is lost.”1
There are times when life is actually worth living instead of picking apart. Really.
